5th Street Ace Hardware Opens at City Vista
(Washington, D.C.) The owners of Logan Hardware will open their newest store, 5th Street Ace Hardware, at 1055 5th Street NW in the CityVista project on June 29, 2008 with a VIP reception from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The store has all of the offerings of an old-fashioned hardware store: paint, tools, cleaning supplies, lawn and garden section, house wares, storage items, fasteners of all sorts, and plumbing and electrical supplies, and will occupy 8,000 square feet of retail space on two levels.
“Special orders will be our specialty and requests often will be filled within the week,” says co-owner Gina Schaefer.
In addition to over 20,000 items in stock, the new store will be launching two new product lines for Ace Hardware – Mythic Paint and Schulte Storage Systems. Mythic Paint is one of the first environmentally friendly, zero volatile organic compound (VOC) paints on the market. Schulte Storage Systems are easy to install, durable, and perfect for condo dwellers or anyone wanting to maximize their storage space.
5th Street Ace Hardware has also launched its own e-commerce site, www.acehardwaredc.com, so you can shop for hardware from home too. For more information, contact Gina Schaefer at (202) 246-3450 or email info@loganhardware.com.
