The V at CityVista Now Leasing

Washington, DC, October 18, 2008…Lowe Enterprises is now leasing 244 luxury residences in The V apartment building at CityVista. The V is the final phase of Lowe Enterprises’ 843,000 square foot mixed-use development in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood.
The grand opening will be on October 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The V – 460 L Street, NW to unveil studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 637 square feet to nearly 2,000 square feet. Residents will enjoy on-site access to CityVista’s lifestyle Safeway that includes a Starbucks and Bergmann’s drycleaners. Other retail amenities at CityVista include Results The Gym, 5th Street Ace Hardware, the popular Busboys and Poets restaurant, and soon Chevy Chase Bank.
Within CityVista is the VistaGreen, a one-acre private park with over 130 different types of plants and a water feature. VistaGreen is a private oasis available only to those living in CityVista. Residents of The V will enjoy their own fitness center, business center and conference room, community room, lounge, library, and two-story lobby with a spiral staircase.
The V was designed by Michael Marshall Architecture in collaboration with CityVista master planner Torti Gallas and Partners. Some 30 apartment designs include oversized windows, balconies, and terraces in select residences and Whirlpool appliances, including washers and dryers.
Situated just blocks from Chinatown, the Verizon Center, and the Washington Convention Center, CityVista serves as the cornerstone of the Mount Vernon Triangle area’s renaissance. The V is the final phase of the $240 million CityVista mixed-use development, which broke ground in 2005 on the site of the old Wax Museum at 5th and K Streets, N.W.
Formed in response to a request from the National Capital Revitalization Corporation, the development team is headed by Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group, CIM Group, Bundy Development Corporation, The Neighborhood Development Company, and the District of Columbia. The project includes The K condominiums (292 units), The L condominiums (149 units), 159,000 square feet of retail space (over 90 percent leased), and The V (244 units).
