A Summer of Fun in the MVT: Tunes in the Triangle & Discover Chinatown Parks

Free live music returns this summer as the MVT CID brings back the “Tunes in the Triangle” evening concert series. This year the concerts will be on the 5th & K Streets, NW plaza from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Residents, visitors and guests can relax in our colorful and comfortable tables and chairs, bring some food and drink to enjoy. This season’s lineup includes:

Thursday, July 20:        Phil Kominski
Tuesday, August 1:       Eastern Standard Time (National Night Out – location TBD)
 
Earlier this month, the MVT CID announced “Discover Chinatown Parks,” a new, free programming series created through partnership among the MVT CID, the DowntownDC BID, and the Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA). The events and activities will take place in Chinatown Park and Milian Park (5th & Mass, NW) from May through September of this year.
 
Programming highlights kick off with the MVT CID’s Spring Fest in the Triangle on May 6 and include:
