Thursday April 22, 2021

Chef Tim Ma of Lucky Danger in Mount Vernon Triangle and Chef Kevin Tien of Moon Rabbit created Chefs Stopping AAPI Hate in response to the rise in hateful and racist attacks perpetrated against Asians, Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI). Each Sunday night offering features a five-course take-out dinner by multiple DC chefs coming together to raise awareness and funds to stop AAPI hate. This will include the upcoming Sunday, April 25 dinner created by Elias Taddesse of Mount Vernon Triangle establishment Mélange, Peter Prime of Cane, Cable Smith of The Royal, Jon Sybert of Tail Up Goat and Reveler’s Hour, and Sharrod Mangum of Call Your Mother Deli and Timber Pizza. Additional dinners are scheduled throughout April and May, including the May 30 dinner featuring a course by Andrew Choiu of Lucky Danger in MVT.
