MVT CID Clean Team to Assist Residents on Election Day/Upcoming Charles Allen Community Office Hours

To assist residents with their trip to and from the Walker Jones polling location during Election Day tomorrow, members of the MVT CID Clean & Safe Ambassadors Team (shown below) will be located along sections of K Street, 3rd Street and New Jersey Avenue between the hours of 6:30-8:30 am and 5:00-7:00 pm. In addition to their everyday green uniforms, Clean Team members will be wearing yellow reflective vests for easy identification and be carrying two-way radios. Please don’t hesitate to let any of them know if assistance is needed along the way or to simply thank them for all of the great work that they do!
The following day, Wednesday, November 9, Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen and his constituent services staff will return to MVT for another “Community Office Hours” from 6-8pm at A Baked Joint. Back by popular demand, Community Office Hours are a great chance to share information, ask questions and hear from the Councilmember and his team. Following a successful inaugural Community Office Hours in MVT in July, November’s event follows through on the Councilmember’s commitment to return for another session in early fall and at a time convenient to those with morning schedule constraints.
