L’Hommage Bistro Francais Opens Doors; Brings a Bit of Paris to K Street

Monday October 5, 2015

L’Hommage Bistro Francais opened its doors just after Labor Day, ushering in yet another creative, modern and delicious menu from owner Hakan Ilhan. L’Hommage is one of the Triangle’s larger restaurants with seating for 200 inside and another 82 on the outdoor patio. Executive Chef Josh Laban Perkins works with local farms and food purveyors to bring the freshest meats and produce to L’Hommage for classic French dishes like steak frites and coq au vin. L’Hommage also features a bakery, offering a full coffee menu, grab-and-go snacks and dinner entrees as well as made-to-order sandwiches. Breads and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Hakan Ilhan also operates Alba Osteria at 425 I Street and will be opening a Turkish restaurant –  Ottoman Taverna – next to Alba in 2016. Visit the L’Hommage website at www.lhommagedc.com.
