Join The Phillips Collection Educators at a Special Jacob Lawrence “The Migration Series” Event at Northwest One Library

DC Public Library (DCPL) has partnered with The Phillips Collection to bring its trained educators to eight DCPL locations — including Northwest One (155 L Street NW) — for an interactive event titled, “Just Your Imagination Workshops“. Read the official event blurb below and plan to stop by Northwest One Library on Monday, August 31 at 3:30pm to attend:

Phillips Educators will lead participants in an exploration of Jacob Lawrence’s The Migration Series, as well as a hands-on art activity inspired by the artworks. Participants will have the chance to experiment, create, and connect with artwork in a new way. This program is designed for learners ages 8 and up and requires no prior art experience – just bring your imagination! It’s a new opportunity for your community to enjoy the museum experience right inside the library.
