Monday August 31, 2015

Mount Vernon Triangle area residents, workers and visitors are invited to enjoy free, live music on Thursday, September 10th as the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) holds its final “Tunes in the Triangle” summer concert featuring Justin Trawick from 6-8 PM at Milian Park at 5th Street, Massachusetts Avenue and I Street, NW. Tunes in the Triangle concerts, organized by the Mount Vernon Triangle CID, showcase local artists with musical genres ranging from pop to jazz. Concerts were held once a month in May, June and July at both lunchtime (at 5th & K Street) and in the evening (at Milian Park). The September 10th concert is a rain date make-up from June 25th.

The concerts are free and guests are encouraged to pack a picnic, bring a blanket or chair and spend an evening with your friends, family, kids and pets. In addition to great music, enjoy corn hole, hula hoops, games and bubbles. We will have free lemonade courtesy 450K Apartments, brownies and treats courtesy of Le Pain Quotidien and dinner available for purchase from a popular food truck. Tunes in the Triangle is sponsored by the MVT CID and produced by OnTap Productions.
