It’s a pleasure to welcome you to Mount Vernon Triangle—a dynamic, inclusive, and attractive neighborhood that’s more than just a place to work. It’s a place to get away from the 9 to 5, to meet up with friends and colleagues, and to enjoy food and beverages, entertainment, and services that are unique to #LifeInMVT.
About the Mount Vernon Triangle CID & What We Do
Since 2004, the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) has redefined what it means to live and work in the centrally located East End of Washington, DC. Our team is constantly working to ensure that your experience in our neighborhood is the best and most memorable that it can possibly be. We do so by providing clean and safe services, organizing community events, promoting economic development opportunities, and mobilizing public support toward a common vision for community needs (such as safe and reliable transportation and mobility options and additional greenspace), and serving as a trusted liaison with local, federal, and other partners to address neighborhood challenges when they arise. As a Community Improvement District, we strive to create long-lasting partnerships and foster enduring connections within our community. Because #MVTogether.
The Neighborhood
We recognize that Mount Vernon Triangle could be new to some employees, and that there may be apprehension regarding how this neighborhood might differ from others you’ve worked in before. And while we’re confident our daytime workers eventually will find a new favorite MVT business or a local gathering spot to routinely socialize with colleagues while outside the office, we realize that in the near term you simply may be wondering where to perform basic daily functions such grabbing a quick bite to eat or picking up your dry cleaning.
