Kaché a new dining destination in downtown’s vibrant Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood, is
officially opening its doors on Monday with a globally inspired, locally grounded menu and a fully immersive atmosphere designed to take guests on a sensory journey. Guided by the philosophy “born of the world, local by heart,” Kaché blends bold flavors, layered design, and warm hospitality into a seamless experience.
The journey begins in Kaché’s rustic entrance and dining room, where natural textures and an inviting ambiance set the tone. Guests then move into The Oasis, a serene, covered patio offering a calm escape for slow dining and shared plates. Upstairs, Bar Noir adds a touch of mystique with its moody lighting, artisan cocktails, and intimate late-night feel.
Kaché’s menu highlights inventive small and large plates that bring global influence to local ingredients. Signature dishes include the Crab Yew Tew, featuring cavatelli tossed in crab fat with lump crab, pepper sofrito, and lemon; Quiet Crabs, a playful take on fried crab hush puppies served with Old Bay aioli and pickled lemon; and Pistou Pete, a vibrant vegan flatbread with pomegranate, vegan mozzarella, and arugula.
“Kaché was designed to feel like a world of its own,” said Jeffrey Granger, owner. “Every room, every dish, every detail is intentional— we want guests to feel transported the moment they step inside.”
With its layered spaces, thoughtful dishes, and the captivating Bar Noir upstairs, Kaché is set to
bring a fresh, elevated experience to Washington, D.C.’s dining scene.
