About Mount Vernon Triangle CID
Since 2004, the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) has redefined what it means to live in the centrally located East End of Washington, DC. Our team is constantly working to ensure that your experience in our neighborhood is the best and most memorable that it can possibly be. We do so by providing clean and safe services, organizing community events, promoting economic development opportunities, and mobilizing public support toward a common vision for community needs (such as safe and reliable transportation and mobility options and additional greenspace), and serving as a trusted liaison with local, federal, and non-profit partners to address neighborhood challenges when they arise.

As your Community Improvement District, we strive to create long-lasting partnerships between neighbors and foster enduring connections within our community. Because #MVTogether. - Open year-round, Mount Vernon Triangle hosts one of the area’s best and fastest-growing outdoor farmers markets. More than just a place to visit and shop, the FRESHFARM MVT Market has become a popular Saturday destination and an opportunity to share in the special joy of being together with neighbors and pets.
- Community in Mount Vernon Triangle is fostered when we create opportunities for neighbors to gather and engage. Mount Vernon Triangle is known for its fun, family-friendly events. Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District
This might look like a muddy pit, but rest assured this is the future footprint of the “Star Court Pavilion”! MVT CID staff had the privilege of stepping into the Cobb Park job site with local musician, writer, educator, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and “Star Court Pavilion” donor Myrna Sislen this week to watch construction & fabrication team members lay the base frame for what is soon to become the shaded seating structure and sculptural artwork anchor for the 1.2-acre park. The next steps include burrowing foundation pillars into the Cobb Park site and bringing this frame back to Brooklyn were artist William Nitzberg of ENZO Metalworks will begin fabricating the sculpture! We look forward to bringing you more updates on the progress of Cobb Park as we have them, so please stay tuned to Triangle Times!
