MVT CID Stakeholders are Reminded “Anything Big Starts Out Small” During 2024 Annual Meeting, Releases FY 2023 Annual Report

Friday July 19, 2024

At its 2024 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 25, Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) staff, stakeholders, partners, and other invited guests gathered in the community room of Plaza West Grandfamily Apartments to celebrate the people, places, and moments that have contributed to Mount Vernon Triangle’s growth and maturation from a community of possibility just two decades ago, to a clean, safe, welcoming, and inclusive new type of downtown neighborhood that embodies the very best kind of city life. Developed through partnership between Mission First Housing Group and Bible Way Church, and offering majestic views across the historically significant Northwest One neighborhood and beyond, Plaza West is a unique and innovative 50-unit affordable housing development and program dedicated to “grandfamilies” – grandparents raising grandchildren where a parent is not present.
