RASA Gives Back to the Community (& Gives $10!)

Throughout the pandemic, MVT fine fast casual Indian restaurant RASA has been preparing thousands of free, nutritious, scratch-made meals for children and families in need as part of the Real Food for Kids’ Chefs Feeding Families initiative. Together with other restaurant collaborators, Chefs Feeding Families has served more than 125,000 meals in the hardest-hit communities in the greater Washington area.
As we begin to move forward and rebuild, the challenges seen during the COVID-19 pandemic for food-insecure children and their families continue to grow. Data shows that rates of childhood obesity and Type II diabetes among food-insecure children have already skyrocketed during this pandemic. It is more critical than ever to ensure access to nutritious meals to help keep bodies and minds strong in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can help!
For every $10 donation made to the RASA Spring Forward campaign benefiting Chefs Feeding Families during the month of April, the donor will receive from RASA a certificate for $10 off a minimum purchase of $40 rom RASA!
Chefs Feeding Families restaurant/chef collaborators include Chef Tim Ma of Lucky Danger in Mount Vernon Triangle and American Son, RASA in Mount Vernon Triangle, Pizzeria Paradiso, Silver Diner, Bayou Bakery, and Design Cuisine catering.
Certificates will be emailed within 48 hours of donation. Valid on orders placed online for takeout or delivery from now until 5/31/2021. Not redeemable for cash value. Cannot be combined with any other offers.
