Reminder: DC Circulator Service Set to End on Tuesday, December 31

Friday December 20, 2024

Tuesday, December 31 is the final day for all DC Circulator service. To ensure community members continue having access to routes, WMATA has implemented Metrobus route adjustments to accommodate former Circulator riders – including merging bus routes 31 and 33 into a single route along H and I Streets NW through Franklin Square and extending via New York and Massachusetts Avenues to Union Station to accommodate travelers using the former Georgetown to Union Station Circulator line. These changes aim to maintain seamless connections to key destinations and address potential crowding. Temporary Metrobus adjustments will remain in place through July 2025, when the Better Bus Network redesign is launched.
