Daily Oktoberfest Celebrations at Prost!
Dust off your Dirndls and shine your steins, daily Oktoberfest celebrations return to Prost starting this Saturday, September 19 through Saturday, October 3! Everything kicks off this weekend with the return of the Prost Biergarten to the FRESHFARM MVT Market and the official Keg Tapping Celebration at the newly refreshed Prost Streatery! Saturdays September 19 & 26 and October 3: Prost Biergarten at FRESHFARM MVT Market
Celebrate Oktoberfest at the FRESHFARM MVT Market, located just around the corner from Prost at the corner of 5th & I Streets NW! The team will be serving up cold Spaten brews from 9am-1pm. There will also be bandana giveaways and treats available for market pups while supplies last!
Saturday, September 19: Oktoberfest Ceremonial Keg Tapping at Prost!
Free beer straight from the keg? You better “beer”lieve it! Join the team (and MVT CID’s Grace Aucella!) at Prost as they tap the official wooden Oktoberfest keg and enjoy free beer while it lasts. Plus, wear your lederhosen and dirndls to get a free 200ml berr! The festivities begin with the traditional Keg Tapping Ceremony at 5pm, register on Eventbrite.
Tuesday, September 22 and 29: Pup-Toberfest
What better way to celebrate the new Prost Streatery than with the pups (and owners) that stop by! Prost will provide the puppy beers, pup cups and bandanas for the pups and Tito’s dog-inspired cocktails for the humans. The best dressed Oktoberfest-themed pups will get the limited giveaway items.
Thursdays, September 24 and October 1: Steinhoisting Competition!
Show off your strength in the Stein Hoisting Competition sponsored by Weihenstephaner. Compete for a chance to win exclusive prizes, including a $50 Prost gift card.
Friday, October 2: Lost Lederhosen German Party Band
Enjoy high energy, authentic German music brought to you by the Lost Lederhosen German Party Band to close out your Friday night! There will also be a Paulaner tap takeover for the evening.
