MVT Goes Blue to Honor Our Front Line Workers

Friday May 8, 2020

Our healthcare and front line workers deserve to be celebrated every day—and that appreciation is especially more important now than ever. We know that many of you already do so in your own way by writing positive letters, providing or contributing nourishing meals and other much-needed equipment, joining your neighbors to make joyful noise, by simply sending your positive thoughts.

To show appreciation for our front line workers – and in honor of DC Nurses Week, National Nurses Day and International Nurses Day – MVT has gone BLUE by placing large blue “thank you” banners around our neighborhood. You are invited to write your own thank you message on the sign with a marker or sharpie pen, which will be delivered  to area hospitals on behalf of our Mount Vernon Triangle community.

Want more ways to show appreciation? Feel free to post your photos or videos to share in this movement of solidarity by expressing thanks using hashtag #MVTogether.
