Mount Vernon Triangle CID Announces Fall Fun Day on Saturday, October 26th, 2013

Washington, DC – The Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (CID) presents a Fall Fun Day on October 26th from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at the 5th & K Streets, NW Plaza. The Fall Fun Day will include a variety of festive fall activities ranging from volunteer bulb plantings to a free zombie zumba class, plus a Mini Monsters Kid Parade and Pet Costume Parade.

10:30 am
VOLUNTEER to plant flower bulbs at new 5th/K Street Planters and Cobb Park – Meet at 5th/K Street to form teams and pick up supplies. Email us if you want to be a team lead.

11:00 am
MINI MONSTER KIDS PARADE – meet at Mandu for parade, treats & unicyclist.

11:30 am-1:30 pm
CELEBRATE fall with artistic pumpkin painting at 5th & K Street – Paint your own mini pumpkins and face painting for all ages at Taylor Gourmet

12:00 pm
ZOMBIE ZUMBA fitness class sponsored by Vida Fitness – free class outside Vida Fitness

1:00 pm
PET COSTUME PARADE – Meet at 5th & I Street Park – Parade to Busboys & Poets for judging & prizes
