Mount Vernon Triangle Fall Fun Day Festival Set for Saturday, Oct. 31st

Superheroes, angels, witches, bumble bees and more will fill the 5th & K Street, NW plaza on Saturday, October 31st from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the annual Mount Vernon Triangle Fall Fun Day. Four-legged residents of this welcoming community in the heart of Washington, DC will be yapping it up as well, parading in front of local judges in the popular dog costume contest. Set alongside the MVT FRESHFARM Market on its final day of the May to October season, Fall Fun Day celebrates the child in all of us with free mini-pumpkin painting, face painting, free apple cider courtesy Busboys & Poets, free popcorn courtesy 5th Street Ace Hardware, a pumpkin decorating contest starring hand crafted creative pumpkins from Mount Vernon Triangle retailers and restaurants and plenty of sweet treats for everyone.
Fall Fun Day Schedule:
10:00 AM — Apple Cider, Games & Sweets, Pumpkin Decorating Contest
10:00 AM — Pumpkin Decorating
10:30 AM — Mini-Monsters Trick or Treating (Meet at 5th & K Street Plaza)
11:00 AM — Face Painting
Noon — Dog Costume Parade & Contest (Meet at 5th & I Streets, NW at Milian Park for start of parade to 5th & K) Prize sponsored by Wagtime!
