Relocated and Expanded FRESHFARM MVT Market Opens Sat. May 6 with Spring Fest Event

“Spring Fest in the Triangle” Features Free Children’s Games and Gifts, Popcorn, Music, Smoothie Tastings, Face Painting and More!

The Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) is pleased to announce the return of the FRESHFARM Mount Vernon Triangle Market at 5th & Eye Streets, NW on Saturday, May 6 along with a family-friendly event, Spring Fest in the Triangle, kicking off the season with fun for people of all ages. The 2017 FRESHFARM Market has been expanded and relocated to accommodate more vendors and selection in a spacious setting adjacent to Milian Park. This year’s market will include:

Chicano Sol, certified organic produce, orchard fruits and more
Pleitez Produce, a family-owned, non-GMO grower
Orchard Breeze Farm, pasture-raised beef, lamb, chicken and eggs
Black Rock Orchard, fruits and berries
Panorama Baking Company, pastries and treats

The market will be open from 10 AM to 2 PM every Saturday morning through October 28, 2017.  FRESHFARM continues to source market vendors and, as a result, additional farmers and producers may be added to this year’s line-up.
