Cobb Park Buildout Continues!

Though it might still *kinda* look like a giant dirt pile, major progress is being made in Cobb Park! During a site visit earlier this week, MVT CID took in the freshly-poured foundations for the playground elements, learned more about the bioretention pond (which will be able to hold three times as much water as a normal pond!) and was familiarized with how other elements of the park will lay out.

A Ward 6 construction update hosted by DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has been scheduled for Thursday, September 4 at 6pm. The project team will share an updated construction timelines for projects across the Ward (including Cobb Park) during the virtual meeting so be sure to register in advance at wardupdates.splashthat.com to receive the link to attend.
