H&H Bagels Opens in Mount Vernon Triangle!

Friday June 13, 2025

Your new breakfast spot is “lox-ed in”! The New York City staple H&H Bagels has (finally) landed in Mount Vernon Triangle. Located at 601 K Street NW, the Mount Vernon Triangle location is the third of many more planned franchised outposts set to open across the country this year. And, rest assured New York bagel-purists: the H&H bagels being slung at the MVT location are made with the same legendary water source as the ones sold at the original Upper West Side shop! Bagels from the franchise shops are all kettle-boiled in New York City water before getting frozen and shipped off across the country to be baked fresh on-site every morning. You can also expect the same high-quality schmears and classic breakfast sandwiches along with some new additions like a new spicy scallion cream cheese.

On Wednesday, MVT CID President & CEO Kenyattah Robinson (left) and team stopped by to congratulate H&H Bagels CEO Jay Rushin (right) and franchise owner/operator Jean Gorospe (middle) on the store’s opening and got to sample some of their offerings ahead of the grand opening this morning. We’re thrilled that Jay, Jean, and the H&H Bagels team chose Mount Vernon Triangle as their premier Washington, DC location and loved having the opportunity to “toast” to the occasion!

H&H Bagels is open daily from 6am-4pm. We hope to “poppy seed” you there sometime soon!
