Justin Trawick Closes Out “Tunes in the Triangle”

Friday August 3, 2018

As if National Night Out wasn’t enough excitement for one night, Tuesday, August 7 also marks the end of the live outdoor music season in Mount Vernon Triangle. That’s when Justin Trawick will bring his unique blend of bluegrass, rock, reggae and hip-hop back to MVT as the culminating performance of the “Tunes in the Triangle” evening concert series. The concert is from 6-8pm at Milian Park. Check out this Washington Post article from January 2018 to learn more about Justin – including his journey to the musical genre he calls “Americana.”

All are invited to relax at Milian Park with friends, pets and snacks – while participating in a festive evening of National Night Out community-building – while enjoying music from one of the District’s most popular local artists in a comfortable and casual setting.

Sponsored by the MVT CID and promoted by OnTap Magazine, Tunes in the Triangle showcases some of the District’s hottest local musicians. Guests are encouraged to pick up a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants, relax on a blanket or in outdoor furniture provided by the MVT CID, and enjoy the show.
