Meet the New Vendors at the FRESHFARM MVT Winter Market!
Friday January 20, 2023
In last week’s Triangle Times, we introduced you to the FRESHFARM MVT Winter Market, but we wanted to take a moment to introduce our readers to the new vendors you will be seeing at 5th & I Streets NW on upcoming Saturdays:
Originally from Quito, Ecuador, Ana brings a “twist” of her home country into everything she prepares. Stop by her booth to pick up healthy and natural-ingredient-focused soups, empanadas, juices, muffins, and sorbets.
This FRESHFARM fan favorite has made its way to MVT! Sisters Minerva and Mariel serve up authentic tacos, burritos quesabirria, elote and agua frescas drawn from recipes from their birthplace of Puebla, Mexico. And there’s no need to wait until lunch to stop by their booth – they also make breakfast burritos!
Offering everything “from soup to nuts” this black-owned family business roasts nuts in small batches with unique spices and flavors to create a variety of sweet and savory snacks. Starting this weekend, they will be popping-up monthly at the MVT Market, but if you can’t wait that long for a refill, you can pick up a bonus jar from Whole Foods or via The Rounds!
- 5 markets: $5 market money OR canvas tote
