The 250th Anniversary of the U.S. Army Grand Military Parade and Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 14 and MVT CID staff have attended multiple safety and awareness meetings hosted by key intelligence partners in order to provide the most up-to-date information for our Mount Vernon Triangle community.   • If you plan to attend the celebration on the Mall prior to the parade, you can register at events.america250.org, the only entrance to the festival will be located at 9th Street NW  between Constitution and Independence avenues NW. Activities on the National Mall will run from 9:30am-6pm.
  • The parade will begin at 6:30pm. Entrances to the viewing area are located at 14th Street NW, between Constitution and Independence avenues NW and about a block west of the White House Ellipse, on the north side of Constitution Avenue.
  • Fireworks and a concert will immediately follow the parade and will run from 8-10pm.
  • At this time, there is no rain plan and the event will go on rain or shine.
