Cool Off at the Innovative Icebergs Experience at the National Building Museum

Sunday July 17, 2016

The National Building Museum is at it again, creating beautiful, fun, innovative experiences right down the street from the MVT and just in time for summer. The Icebergs exhibit in the Museum’s Great Hall was designed by James Corner Field Operations and invites you to explore an imaginary glacial sea, climb to a viewing area in the tallest ‘berg, slide down an “ice” chute and in the process, learn about how design transforms spaces and lives. The exhibit is built solely from re-usable construction materials and is great fun for people of all ages. Find out more and get tickets here. Note that residents of Ward 6 can enjoy free admission on Tuesday, July 19 from 9 – 11 AM as part of Ward Day for our community.
