Mobile Art Gallery Winds Down with pOPERA This Saturday, Retailer Specials through 2/1

Thursday January 24, 2019

More than 1,000 people have stopped by Milian Park since the November 16 Community Kickoff to visit CulturalDC’s Mobile Art Gallery—a 40-foot shipping container turned solar-powered exhibition space that currently features the stunning exhibit by Nara Park, Enduring Marks. A sculptor and installation artist living and working in Washington, DC whose artwork was recently acquired by The Phillips Collection, Park is one of the area’s most prominent rising young artists. Be sure to visit before the gallery moves to its next location on Saturday, February 1 and take advantage of the following two great promotional opportunities

  • On Saturday, January 26 at 12:30pm, guests can also enjoy pOPERA pop-up performances from The In Series and CulturalDC inside the Mobile Art Gallery!
  • And through Saturday, February 1 gallery visitors can receive 10% off their final bill (excluding tax and gratuity) at two of our local MVT restaurant partners, A Baked Joint and Prather’s on the Alley! Be sure to pick up a stamped card from the gallery to receive the discount.

The MVT CID extends special appreciation to Pepco and Paradigm Development Company – owners of the Meridian at Gallery Place and Meridian at Mount Vernon Triangle apartment communities – for the generous financial support that helped offset the investment required to bring this innovative artistic and cultural amenity to our community.
