MVT Faves Featured in Thrillist & Washingtonian

In case you missed our story on Instagram earlier this week, Thrillist recently published “The 10 Best Deals You Can Score During DC’s Winter Restaurant Week” where they feature MVT favorites Alta Strada and Bar Chinois. From the article:
Alta Strada. As one of the city’s most popular Italian restaurants, it’s only fitting that this neighborhood joint is offering extensive Restaurant Week menus that hit on all the favorites. With plenty of options for a large group or some picky eaters, Alta Strada should do the trick. This Restaurant Week menu from chef Michael Schlow is expansive, offering options at every course. Bar Chinois. New to Restaurant Week this year is chef Tim Ma and bartender Margaux Donati’s Bar Chinois. This neon-lit space offers a sprawling dim sum menu paired with a French-inspired beverage program for a dining and drinking experience that’s truly unique.
Washingtonian also released its list of “12 New Destinations to Try for DC Winter Restaurant Week” and wouldn’t you know it, Bar Chinois also made an appearance with them. From the article:
Looking for a chic date night spot? Mt. Vernon Triangle’s new French cocktail bar-meets-dim sum parlor should do the trick. Barwoman Margaux Donati is behind the cocktails tinged with Gallic spirits (RW menus include an optional pairing), while Lucky Danger chef Tim Ma’s menu dabbles in creative dumplings, bao buns, and crispy Singaporean fish.
