Two Important Feedback Opportunities Still Open!

Wednesday September 2, 2020

Help plan for the future of our community while simultaneously ensuring that Washington, DC receives its fair share of Federal funding by taking both our MVT strategic plan update feedback survey as well as the 2020 U.S. Census!

MVT Strategic Plan Update Feedback Survey: As announced in last week’s Triangle Times, and because we believe strongly in the value of community feedback to help inform all aspects of the services that we provide, you’re invited to participate in this anonymous 10-15 minute survey to help identify key challenges, gaps, opportunities and implementation actions that will inform the overall vision, strategy and multi-year priorities needed to fulfill our mission goals for the Mount Vernon Triangle community.

2020 U.S. Census: First the bad news: the deadline for responding to the 2020 Census has been cut short by a month to September 30 and DC lags the U.S. response rate. The good news is that it takes just a few minutes to get counted online, over the phone or by mail—all without having to meet someone in person. All you need is your address to respond. The Census is a once-a-decade undertaking to count every person – regardless of age, nationality or immigration status – who currently lives in the United States. Billions of dollars in Federal financial assistance, such as emergency funding in support COVID-19 operations, is directly tied to the Census, so please take a few minutes for your city and get counted!
